This Is Off The Wall / DIY Skate Community
For this iteration of our “This Is Off The Wall” campaign we focused on the power of the global communities that help define skateboarding.
The Skate Witches, a community of female and non-binary skaters in North America who didn’t see themselves reflected in traditional skate media, so took it upon themselves to create it; Skateboarding in Beijing, where skateboarding faces unique cultural hurdles, yet also finds an upcoming generation that’s supported in all new ways; and Szaber Bowl, a forgotten construction project in central Warsaw reclaimed by a crew of local skaters.
